1990s… magazines… teaching… PhD…
In 1990, I started a quarterly magazine for children called Kırmızıfare (the Red Mouse) with the subtitle: “literature magazine for children.”
In 1991, after Redhouse decided to close the children’s books section, I gave my full time to Mavibulut.
In 1992, I started teaching in Istanbul University, Librarianship Department, which I did for 10 years until 2002.
I started to work on my PhD and completed it in 1998.
I was invited to Baku, Azerbaijan to give a conference on children’s literature.
He was sent to Moldova by the Turkish Ministry of Culture to represent Turkey in a book fair.

In 1994, I founded an association for children’s authors, illustrators, editors, librarians… which became the Turkish section of IBBY. He acted as the president from 1994 to 2004 for 10 years. (Recently, became the president again, since April 2018.)
My second son Ozan was born in 1994.
I started another quarterly magazine on children’s literature for experts and researchers, called “BinbirKitap” (1001 books), which I managed to publish only 3 issues.
In 1997, I was selected as one of the “10 best children’s authors” during the children’s literature symposium organized by Ankara University.
